COVID-19 Safety Precautions:
We will be updating how we will be running classes based on scientific research and CDC recommendations and are happy to announce that our students will be able to participate in a more freely flowing rotation of stations this summer. We are listening to the scientific evidence that there is a very low possibility of transmission of COVID-19 through surfaces and through outdoor interaction. Therefore, we will allow students to rotate in a circuit, rather than being stationary at one skill station for a designated period of time. We hope this will promote social learning among our students and allow us to spend more time dedicated to individual needs. We are still asking that all participating grown-ups and children above the age of 2 wear a mask during class in order to mitigate risk during closer interaction. Coach Greg and Coach Whitney are fully vaccinated and will be providing spotting and hands-on support when necessary, but we will still be wearing masks when within 6 feet of participants, out of respect for all those who have not been able to receive the vaccine. We will continue to thoroughly sanitize between classes and ask that all students bring their own yoga mat and ball (similar to soccer ball). We also ask that students under the age of 4 bring a grown-up to class in order to help with redirections and maintaining comfortable boundaries. Please sanitize hands before and after participating in class and do not attend if you have a cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, or new loss of taste or smell.
